If everyone could choose their own text color, then I wouldn't be the only red. That is obviously unacceptable.

Yeah, the colors are fine as they are now.

I think that would be a rainbow of death and everyone's minds would explode.
It's just more organized this way.

I </3 Elitism, especially of something easily shared
Also, Icy, don't be afraid of the rainbow. Colors would be nice

Me and inf are 1-1.
The very first match had very little hax from both sides and I'm pretty sure I had the advantage, but as luck would have it I got the tri-hax of being disconnected AND getting the stupid runtime error glitch, causing us to have a rematch which Inf won. The second match was down to the wire, and I was pretty sure I was going to lose, but then I remembered it was a tourney and raised my power level to 100%. Still was very close and ended with a struggle war. After such an intense match I was exhausted and didnt want to do the last match (sorry guys). We will finish our set tommorow.

I beat inf in a rather uneventful 3rd game. I froze his chansey on the very first ice beam of the game and everything just went downhill for him from there =\

Gay.
On the other side of things though, it's pretty neat that you lost the first round and are now in Grand Finals. But can you take two sets off Posthuman? =)

Hmm, this double elimination format seems to greatly favor the person who doesn't lose to get to the finals. Don't you think one set for all the cookies would be more epic?

I agree, and I think it should be that way from now on in major tournaments. Yeah it's not too fair because the winner doesn't get any second chances while everyone else in the tournament does, but it's better than the alternative of having work your way up from the loser's bracket. That said, I'm not worried about this tournament. Posthuman is up against dexter, he needs all the extra chances he can get

It's double elimination, and Posthuman hasn't been eliminated once yet, while Dexter has been. Consistency pays off and that's why Winner's Finals is important for both players.
Really though, if the player coming from Loser's is significantly better than the person in Winner's, it should still be in their favor, just longer. Better yet, they should make sure they stay in Winner's for as long as possible. ; D

3-1 me! GGs Dexter. You beat me pretty hard the first game (I froze your Snorlax and still lost). I got some luck with the next three (freezing your Chansey, winning Tauros mirrors), but at least there were no 255 Explosions or anything. My Jynx seemed to have issues with sleeping you though...well, all ggs. Good tournament too.
I'm passing the color award thing to Dexter because I really don't have a use for it. I'm just happy I won the tournament. OU will always be my favorite metagame.

Yeah, that freaking tauros winning the speed tie on gengar in the last game really won it for you, not saying I would have won otherwise, but I would have put up more of a fight =\ Also, Icy being a cocky ass every time you won a game wasn't helping my confidence (now I know how spies felt when I played him =\) Fuck you icy, enjoy your puce. Also for some reason I decided it would be a good idea to test out a brand new team on the very last match of the game, and you can see how that worked out. I think if I had just stuck to my guns with the Starmie/Gengar/Chansey/Eggy/Snorlax/Tauros line up I won with the first game with I probably would have had more of an advantage. Oh well, I guess I just wasn't thinking for whatever reason. Also also you managed to outpredict me at every corner by going with the obvious move every time. I'm not sure if you did that in the hopes that I would overpredict and go with the wrong move(which I did), or if you were just so comfortable with your lead you didn't care, but somehow it worked out for you in the end so good job =P Congrats, post, you've really come along way since the days of me kicking your ass with raticates and kabutopses =P And thanks for the prize

I was mostly quiet until the end of those matches, and cocky when you fought Spies since all of his buddies were rooting for him back. But regardless, sorry then.
Overall, this was probably the best tournament run we've had, and everything went really well.

Haha those UU Pokémon throw me off. I know what to do against a Starmie or Zapdos, but I get worried if I'm fighting something I've never fought before. I have learned what to do against those two though :-P
So yeah I sorta figured out how you played during the first couple games. You predicted many switches and stuff, so I went with a few more basic strategies after that hoping you would think too much. I also tried changing some basic things I did hoping I would mess with you (like using Zam for sleep bait instead of Gengar; worked beautifully versus that Persian). You're probably right that you would have done better using your original team.
The cheering squad helped too yeah. It's nice to have someone rooting for you (though he didn't need to brag quite so much for me). I thought the prize would make up for that somewhat :-D
