Oh wow okay I hadn't been following this too closely but I see that we're already at the final match: Me vs. Cheese!
When's a good time for battle, o cheesy one?

I hadn't realised that myself! I'm in GMT +1 (BST). I'm quite busy the next couple of days but will be free all of Thursday and Friday. How about Thursday evening sometime?

Thursday evening = Thursday afternoon for me. That should work.

Won the series 2-1, but I don't feel like I deserved it.
RNG and lucky recover shenanigans won game 1 for me, game 2 was clearly in Cheese's favor even though the outcome seemed to come down to a bull war (I maintain he would've had chances even had he lost the war, whereas I needed to win it to save the match). Game 3 I got a lot of RNG help but played like ass so almost threw it away, the game basically came down to a 50-50 prediction and I guessed correctly.
Funny thing about this series is that a grand total of 1 body slam actually paralyzed anything. Wacky series, ggs Cheese.

GGs I think these matches (with Dre and Jorgen) have highlighted how haxy RBY can be. In one match the luck swung my way, in the other it didn't. From what I remember Game 1 I got a bit unlucky at the start and never really got the opportunity to recover. Partly due to my team (only 1 sleeper, for example), partly the way I played, and partly just luck. I think Game 2 was relatively even and came down to a Tauros ditto, although like Jorgen said I would have had more chance if I'd lost the war (which I didn't). Game 3 slipped away from me early on due to luck but by the end it was even. It basically came down to 50/50 and I guessed incorrectly. I have a habit of booming ASAP so I thought I'd try the opposite... didn't work out. I'm just glad to have been accepted as a respectable player, although as Isa pointed out I did make some small mistakes (not realising Zam's recover would fail, going for a paraslam + FP hax as opposed to a lucky freeze etc.)

I only started checking for 255's after it happened to myself...live and learn. Besides, if memory serves me right, you won when we faced in tournament last time, didn't you?

I didn't take it as a put down at all! I took it as good advice. And yes, although I'd completely forgotten about that.
