Hii~Hii! I'm Paola, and I'm 20 years old now, I started with the Pokémon Series with the version Blue when it was released, and from there I always loved Pokémon, but, even when I like all the generations, and my favorite is the second one, I still like a lot the competitive scenary of the first generation, it may have bugs, it may not have 500+ Pokémon or flashy items and stuff, but that's it's beauty part, too.
It's simply, but at the same time complex, you have to predict or guess your opponent, you have to play your chances and play around with what you have, but all that complex mind game, from the team building to the battle itself, starts from a simple base: You have 151 avaliable to use, Mew and Mewtwo are banned on some rulesets, and from those 149 Pokémon, you have 81 fully evolved you can use, there are not a lot moves, but there exist the enough variety for most of the Pokémon to being able to play around, and from those 79, you have a small but solid threat list called OU. There are not huge numbers, or stuff OHKOing everything on every turn, you have to paralyze, sleep, froze, or burn your opponent in order to have an edge, you have to save up some Pokémon for the end, and stuff. I just like it a lot, I rebember how I enjoyed passing Pokémon Stadium with low-trained Pokémon, it was hard, I passed lot of hours planning new teams and putting them on practice, until I were able to pass all the cups and stuff.
But well, that is, I like a lot the first generation, I find it an interesting generation, when it may not be the more balanced generation, I think it's easier to play around with your own style, and when I know how to properly teambuild standard teams, I'm always trying new stuff, new combinations and things of that sort, and when I'm winning every game in that way, I'm still having a decent win ratio with I'm happy enough, and I'm enjoying each battle while at the same time I'm still testing new stuff.
As I love to test teams, and at the same time talk about them, then I did reach to this place, and I liked it, so I decided to join at the end, and well, that pretty much ends this introduction, nice to meet you all! (Oh, yeah, I'm also not a english-native-speaker, sowwie if sometimes it's hard to understand me!).
