October Little Cup Tournament

So we're a bit behind schedule, but we've had multiple tournaments running before, so we should be fine. =)

Not my fault anyway. :3

For those not fluent with Little Cup, check out the thread Zilch made for basic rules and tips.

For those that were looking forward to a "Neapolitan" tournament (OU/BL/UU/NU), SubSmoke will likely be running that sometime soon after OU is finished.

Format

With 7 entrants or under (which is what I'm expecting), the tournament will be Round Robin. With 8 or more, the tournament will be Pool-less Double Elimination.

Since Little Cup is extremely fast paced, all sets, regardless of tournament style will be best 3 of 5.

Rules

-Pre-evolutions only (Eevee and Drowzee but not Porygon or Ditto, etc)
-All 6 Pokemon must be Level 5. No more, no less.*
-All 6 Pokemon must be different (Species Clause)
-Sleep, Freeze and Self-KO Clauses
-Apply PP Ups
-Evasion moves (Double Team, Minimize) are banned (Evasion Clause)
-OHKO moves (Horn Drill, Fissure, Guillotine) are banned
-Wrap moves (Wrap, Bind, Clamp, Fire Spin) are banned
-Sonicboom and Dragon Rage are banned (but Seismic Toss and Night Shade are legal)
-Both players may change teams after each battle

* Remember that when you first create a Pokemon with Netbattle, the Pokemon is at Level 100. Make sure you always have only Level 5s. If you use a Pokemon that is not Level 5 during a battle, you are DQ'd of that game (not set). In the event that one of your Pokemon is accidentally Level 100, but you win the game without that Pokemon being used at all, then you still win the game (since you were playing at 5v6 or worse).

I should also mention, knowledge of Little Cup is very important for any success, so I strongly suggest you practice up and get used to the run and gun style before jumping into tournament, only to get 0-3'd.

Since Little Cup matches go so quickly, you also have little room for error, so be cautious with every move you make.

Hm, this sounds like fun. Count me in. I just need to know when this is going to happen, and get stuff sorted out in my schedule. I think I also need to update my NBS by now, but I'll check that out right now.

As for play-testing LC, I have not. I may lose quickly in this tournament, but I suppose it's practice for me in LC RBY.

Edit: Also, is this going to be True RBY or RBY with Trades? Or do we always play True RBY on here?
