Hey guys, I noticed that a certain webpage that has an amazing amount of info about RBY is rather unknown. Crystal gave me this link a while ago and it helped me get off my feet. sites.google.com/site/rbysite/the-rby-metagameIt's a great site that I believe Crystal wrote (?) and is certainly worth a read.

No, its pretty outdated. Now, I believe in a more offensive meta but idk though, tbh I have been lately returning to the "recoverer" principle, but adapted. Formulas and machanincal stuff are fine though.

Hey, I was bored today at university, so I wrote some lines of python. I calculated the damage each OU poke does to each other OU poke with their damaging moves (didn't take all the moves just those, I thought to be of interest, hope I didn't leave out important ones). I attached the file. Hope you like it. If you see mistakes or anything, tell me. Cya! Attachments:

cool! thanks for uploading. i like the stats on Zapdos' Surf yay Mimic! I noticed your SelfDestruct/Explosion calculations are very wrong vs Rhydon/Golem.

I noticed a small error too. When calculating the minimum, you use the maximum without removing the leftover decimal. Since you just take the whole value, some of the minimums are one point lower than they should be.
I'm assuming the problem is you use an int for maximum damage, and then do minimum damage in a separate calculation. The easiest way around this is either making the int a float instead to keep decimal places, or to just repeat the calculation a second time for minimum. I'd suggest just changing to a float though since it's much more efficient and a slightly better algorithm that way.
Very cool stuff though, thanks! =D

Small errors, easy to fix and fixed. Is the Explosion/SelfDestruct damage wrong or right? Cya! Attachments:

You're not dividing by 2 against Golem/Rhydon with Explosion/Self-Destruct (Normal does 1/2 vs Rock).

Such mistakes happen, when writing so much information off. Should be fixed. Cya! *e: Btw, another stupid mistake: I forgot to double the Pin Missile and Double Kick damage. :/ Attachments:

Wouldn't it be better to simply replace the initial file rather than having 3 different ones uploaded?

Well, i would have done it, when I knew how. I couldn't replace it when I clicked Modify. So tell me how and I will replace it.
