Player A vs Player B
Player A has a Pokemon with Fissure, but doesn't use it Player B is losing a stall war and is forced to use Mimic and gets Fissure Player B is then forced to use Fissure
Which player is DQ'd? A, B or neither?
I'd lean on either DQing Player A or neither. DQing Player B for being forced to a move that is not naturally on the Pokemon being used is unfair and this would also cause problems for anyone being quirky and using Metronome. I can't decide on A or neither. I can't imagine this situation coming up here if ever, but it's something to think about.

DQ player A! As all this mess would be his fault

Its just as easy to define the rule as "your pokemon must not know move x" rather than "must not use move x".

Although, Player A had the right sense to not use a banned move throughout the match, if it is revealed that he did indeed have that move, then Player B has the right to call for Player A's disqualification.
However, since these matches are usually done in sets, this would only amount to a loss of a single match rather than the entire set, so it's not as devastating. Plus, Player B also has the capability to let it slide. Player B obviously wont be disqualified for using a move that Player A has supplied.

What's the argument here? Mimic is legal, Fissure is not. Player A's disqualified.

Player A should be dq'd, but player B actually should get a warning, since he used a banned move. Instead of using it, he should have ended the match and contacted a judge.

Awesome thanks. Hipmonlee described it a lot better than me.

I think if the rules are "You must not USE these moves" then Player B gets DQ'd (or must resign) since Player A was able to force him into that situation.
When the rules are "You must not HAVE these moves" then Play A obviously gets DQ'd.
