No it won't.
And I think at the time, I had a pretty clear list of priority:
1. agi pass to lk drum 2. lk drum 3. lk
So the only real issue I had was with Agi passing to lax, the rest is ehh. It's reasonable to play around every other type of lk snorlax. But with Agi passing, you have very little room for error, and sometimes, there's nothing you can do about it. With Lax on its own, you still have to get the prediction correctly, if not, and you end up taking a hit for 20%, that sets you back immensely. Not to mention, everything else is faster than you and hits you for at least 25% anyway.
In agi passing, you hit jolteon, jolteon takes it like a man and passes. There's really nothing you can do here unless you have the required pokemon. It's not about skill. Heck, Snorlax can take a hit, and it doesn't really care since it's faster and ohkoing everthing.
In the earlier example, you still needed some skill to bring in a Rest-less lax, a lax that was going to be slower than everything anyway. A lax who's going to take subsequent hits regardless of what you send in.

If I'm depending mostly on standard Skarmory to counter BDrum Lax and Miltank for Cursing, what can I do about BDrum Fireblast? I haven't really seen it often, but when I do I usually get fucked. Gengar would obviously help but I don't want to change my entire strategy to counter a rare Lax.

You deal with Fblast drumlax the same way you ought to check any drumlax: attack. Don't dance around so much with non-damaging moves and switches, keep nailing it with Drill Pecks, Thunders, Surfs, and what have you to keep it from comfortably drumming. Obviously, this is easier when you run offense instead of stall.

Thanks, that's helpful. I suppose too often I make switches that end up costing me when I should just attack.

Deal with it as if it were Drumfable: Rhydon/Ttar/Gengar/missy. However, if you can, the best idea is to play aggresively against any Snorlax, especially since you don't know that Snorlax is Druming and FB-ing until it drums and FBs...

I wish we'd just go ahead and ban Snorlax. we all know he's better than Celebi and Ho-Oh. Either ban him, or let the other two in... It doesn't make sense to have one and not the other. Really lame to skew the metagame just for the sake of tradition and conservatism.

It has been ten years. It's not like whoever comes and bans Snorlax, Zapdos or Raticate. Like Borat stated, Snorlax is more better than worse for the meta and I agree.
