This sub-board is for basic guides to Pokemon, that new players can use for general information about each Pokemon. Feel free to write some, but keep the main post as the guide, and following posts for discussion/suggestions (ie, don't leave discussion bits in the first post). Also, please try to keep subjectivity out of guides. Of course that what's viable and how to use Pokemon can be different based on people's opinions, but things like "Lapras should be on every team" or "Exeggutor is the best OU Pokemon" are silly.
Also, be sure to include information such as stats, movepools, type, weaknesses, etc. Information doesn't need to be complex like my in-depth guides I've written, but some basic stuff should be included.

Just as an update as this is going well, once all 81 are done, I'll leave all the threads open and they can all get scrambled based on which have the latest posts. To make them accessible however, I'll add links to all 81 here in both alphabetical and numerical orders.

Might be an idea to have links of pokemon in their tiers as well (e.g. all OU pokemon together etc.).

Well right now, we're doing all Pokemon based on OU usage, and since our tiers are based on playability within the tiers, it's not exactly accurate for OU, ie, Kingler would be BL if tiers were based on OU abilities, etc.

I had to read that twice to understand it, but yeh. There's no point lumping all the UU (or whatever) together if some are much more viable in OU than others.

I'll try to give some useful tidbits here and there about a Pokemon's usage in lower tiers. It won't be anywhere as detailed as the main analysis, though.
