So, on the POSimulator YouTube channel, there are some videos that feature odd compositions of Pokémon and movesets that seem simply bad, yet clearly thought out and also working out against their opponents team, consisting of an equally weird team composition with equally unusual movesets.

It's the Random Draft battle!
Here's how it works on PO. A person not involved in the battle randomly generates two sets of six unique numbers from 1 to 150, using this page. Each number generated correlates to how often that Pokémon is used in the OU tier, which can be checked here. Both players get to know the numbers and therefore Pokémon that the opponent gets, so when designing your team, it's all about countering what your opponent has. This can lead to interesting movesets - with RBYPlus in mind, if your opponent gets Rhydon, Onix, Chansey, Exeggutor, Electabuzz and Blastoise, you might consider running a TWave/BSlam/DKick/PMissile Jolteon, dropping your Electric moves completely.
For the RBYPlus version, I'm thinking something similar but simpler. Each Pokémon in Plus gets assigned a number from 1 to 81, as we have 81 fully evolved Pokémon. Say that I get the numbers 3, 13, 65, 69, 71 and 79 - that'd give me a team of Blastoise, Nidoking, Gyarados, Jolteon, Porygon and Dragonite. My opponent on the other hand could get something like 17, 23, 45, 52, 57 and 72. This would give him a team of Golbat, Golduck, Exeggutor, Chansey, Starmie and Omastar.
Knowing this, when designing my team and deciding how to play, I'd probably give Gyarados Thunder(bolt) and try to keep Jolteon alive for as long as possible to exploit my opponents weakness to him, as he can hit everything for *2 with TBolt, DKick or PMissile. My opponent on the other hand will probably do everything possible to keep Chansey alive, as all of my Pokémon are specially oriented, bar Nidoking - and he'll surrender to Psychic, Ice Beam and Surf from Exeggutor, Chansey, Starmie, Omastar and Golduck, and his STAB attacks are ignored by Golbat.
I'm posting this because I think the idea is sweet. It's all about countering your opponent, and I would like to give the idea a try. If anyone wants to try it with me, just tell me whenever you see me and we can play.
