Raticate gets some exciting use as a very fast, very weak Normal sweeper. Super Fang gains 100% accuracy, and Hyper Fang gets a higher flinch rate and a type change for super effective damage against Ghosts. Bubble is also an option for bulky Rocks. She also benefits from the Double-Edge boost, and might utilize the Fighting typed Fury Swipes. Very fast, very weak, very super!
Raticate not only gets 100% accuracy for Super Fang, but enough Speed to support using it on nearly everything without fear. Raticate has some problems finishing Pokemon off, but has a very high CH rate and a lot of offensive moves. To avoid brokenness, Super Fang has low PP, so you can effectively Recover/Softboiled stall as a way to hard counter. Otherwise, Raticate should go one for one in most battles. Avoid Paralysis. |

Raticate does two things: cuts your HP in half and flinches you. Super Fang is the natural choice on Raticate allowing him to deal 352 damage to Chansey, or 102 to Gengar. Use with care, as a Recover user can stall Super Fang's PP. When not cutting your HP in half, Raticate will probably hit you with one of his many flinching moves - choose from Bite, Bubble, and Hyper Fang. Paralyze Raticate to put this rat to rest.
