Ninetales becomes even more mystical with her new Ghost typing, making her immune to Normal and Fighting and resistant to Poison. Tale Whip is her unique Ghost move for consistent physical STAB. Fire attacks become more useful as Grasses, Ices, and Bugs increase in power, and coupled with Amnesia they will burn through many teams. Ninetales will play a part in many tales of burned tails.
Ninetales is a Fire Pokemon with some technical abilities and runs on her Ghost typing. Confuse Ray and the 298 Speed can support setting up, or you could use Ninetales as a mixed sweeper with a nice offensive combination. |

Ninetales gets a Ghost/Fire typing and some interesting new moves. Amnesia is suddenly available, threatening your opponent with fearsome Fire attacks. Hypnosis on the other hand can give Ninetales an opportunity to get around her hard counters (such as Vaporeon). Tail Whip is the physical STAB move, hitting everything not Normal. Don't underestimate Ninetales and do not let it set up Amnesia on you.
