Vileplume becomes the game's Grass special sweeper, with big boosts to Special and Speed, and the addition of Growth. Her ace is Petal Dance, though it can also be her deuce if she uses it at the wrong time, considering the many x2 and x4 Grass resistors. Certainly not a jack-of-all-trades, but, if used correctly, Vileplume is a very potent sweeper!
Vileplume runs on Petal Dance, while otherwise having very few useful moves. Being the fastest Grass, even outspeeding Starmie gives her other uses though. Make sure that when you use Petal Dance, that the opponent can't stop it. |

Vileplume is the only mono-Grass in the game, but she handles that very well. Having a great boost in both Speed and Special, she can abuse her unique move Petal Dance once Pokémon resisting it have been eliminated. Stun Spore makes her more useful early on and Growth is a good option to make Petal Dance even more dangerous.
