Persian continues to be a glass cannon, and a slight boost in Special helps against her hard counters, the Ghosts. A slight attack boost makes Slash even better. Bubble is a nice option to hit rocks/grounds, and her unique and most powerful move is Pay Day. This one time affair is high dollar for sure, especially with a critical hit! Just don't waste your money on a Rock or a Ghost pokemon!
You get one shot with Pay Day, but it can cause a lot of pressure. A 1.2x Hyper Beam with perfect accuracy and no side effects is a scary sweeping attack. Persian has a few better moves, but still has trouble with Ghosts. Bubble gives you some hope in beating them and Slash remains a staple move. |

Persian gets some interesting changes. Slash is slightly more potent than previously due to the slight increase in Attack given to Persian, but the main reason to pick Persian now is his unique move Pay Day. You get one shot at it, but it's a dangerous one - hitting with 180 base power and STAB without drawbacks is an impressive thing that makes every Pokémon that's not a Rock or Ghost tremle with fear.
