Hypno gets a defensive boost, making him an extremely bulky Psychic pokemon, even if he still has to use Rest. Disable and the recoil move boosts will help him out, too, and the chance at Dream Eater is also present. Psychic is still a very strong tool, and Headbutt paired with Flash and Thunderwave can be quite annoying, so don't let this monster hypnotize you into a false sense of security.
Hypno is a defensive Psychic that can also Sleep like before. Hypno stalls and hits back fairly well with his Psychic moves. He has a ton of support moves to assist you too. |

Hypno is the same old reliable bulky Psychic as previously. With a boost to both HP and defense, Hypno can now tank most of anything without too much hassle. He loses Meditate but gains boosted annoyance moves like Headbutt, Flash and Disable. Hypnosis gets an accuracy boost as well, and if you can hit with Dream Eater, it's the strongest move in the game after Selfdestruct with a massive HP increase for Hypno. Overall, Hypno plays mostly the same role as previously, only slightly better.
