Kingler finally gets to utilize his colossal attack due to the addition of Bug typing. Vicegrip and Guillotine are his main weapons, and Crabhammer is still nice for some decent STAB. Swords Dance makes him nearly uber strong, and his huge defense means he can Rest and repeat. This crab is king!
Electric attacks are lethal, but Kingler can take most of everything else. He can attack with his new Crahammer and Bug moves, and use Swords Dance for even more power. The Ice moves are available for some type coverage, but may not be used like before. |

Kingler loves the Bug typing he gained, as his physical attacks now come from STAB. This makes his damage output so high, you're going to need to take Kingler out swiftly or he'll go to town on your team. Crabhammer is now 100% accurate as well, and a small defensive boost gives Kingler a good opportunity to come in on most physical attacks. Electrics are the bane of Kingler's existance, so beware.
