Hitmonlee gets a major workout in Plus. His defense stats are all boosted, and his moves are beefed quite a bit. Double Kick is his trusty mid powered attack. Jump Kick is his strongest move. High Jump Kick is fun and can dodge Explosions. Mega Kick drains HP from the foe, but loses STAB, Rolling Kick provides some type coverage for those pesky birds, and Low Kick lets him flinch. Meditate for even more power. He should have a foothold in the competitive scene now.
Hitmonlee has very few moves, but all are superb. Jump Kick is dangerously powerful, but Hitmonlee is easy to predict. Rolling Kick is mostly for Flying Pokemon, but helps with Bugs too. The key is setting up with Meditate and unleashing. |

Hitmonlee sees a major power boost with raised HP, defense, special and even speed. His attack isn't boosted, but it doesn't need it, as it already was high at 338. Instead, the boosts comes from the powerful moves Hitmonlee has access to. Hi Jump Kick and Jump Kick have 150 base power, Mega Kick drains HP and has 120 base power, Rolling Kick grants coverage when up against Ghosts and Meditate boosts it all. Step it up with this kicker!
