Hitmonchan becomes a strong mixed sweeping Fighting pokemon. Comet Punch gives Hitmonchan a hand by provide a powerful STAB priority move. Mega Punch replenishes health, though it is unstabbed. And the elemental punches are all boosted in power and pair nicely with Hitmonchan's newfound high special stat. This guy packs quite a punch.
Comet Punch with Meditate is deadly, so you have to be sure you can stay out when you use it. Ghosts and resistors can be a problem, so make sure you've taken care of them beforehand. I expect only one elemental punch will make it on the set, unless the type coverage becomes important. |

Hitmonchan is boosted to great levels with his fantastic 130 point increase in Special. He also sees a small attack boost, but on the other hand, he loses speed. His STAB move Comet Punch has priority and 80 base power, which is huge. Mega Punch drains HP and Meditate boosts it all, while the elemental punches bring coverage.
