Rhydon gets a major boost in attack power, and becomes the sole Rock/Ground offensive pokemon. He still walls Poisons, birds, Rocks, Bugs, and Normals, too. Rock Slide, Earthquake, and Submission are standard methods of attack for this rampaging rhino. Just watch out for Grass/Water foes!
Same as ever, but with less competition and more power. He also walls many of the boosted Pokemon types and has a lot of new Physical options such as Rock Throw, Horn Attack, and Submission. |

Rhydon is an absolute physical beast. 388 attack and Rock/Ground typing means that you can hit everything neutrally with your STAB alone, the only exception being Venusaur - and you can hit him with Ice Beam. You also have access to Submission for hitting Normals and others super effectively, and Body Slam when you need paralysis. Don't mess with Rhydon.
