Pinsir is one powerful bug! Vicegrip and Guillotine are the main weapons, along with Slam and Submission, and these all pair nicely with Swords Dance. After SD, Pinsir will be able to 1hko a ton of pokemon. To be fair, Pinsir is now x4 weak to birds, but he does lose his weakness to Rock, which means the special side is the best way to take him down if you don't have Fearow available. This bedbug is sure to bite!
Pinsir is a powerhouse, similar to Heracross. Swords Dance supports both types unlike Kingler, but Pinsir has to watch for Flying and Specialist Pokemon. If Pinsir is faster or has a lot of Paralysis support (or creates his own with multiple ways to), Pinsir can destroy. |

Pinsir finally gets the boosts he needed to become viable - he now has STAB attacks, and a helpful Fighting typing. Swords Dance puts his attack at a mighty 696, which is bound to put a big hole in your opponents defenses. Submission and Guillotine are his most powerful attacks, but there's also Slam and Vicegrip if you don't want the drawbacks of recoil and poor accuracy. Watch out for Flyings, as they resist your STAB and will likely OHKO you in return.
