Tauros is as tough as ever with his new Ground typing. He can now switch in on Electric attacks and begin dishing out damage. STAB Earthquake and Stomp are quite effective, and Double-Edge is now a powerful option to compliment the old standby attacks. Tauros has some new weaknesses, but the stabbed Ground moves really help against Ghosts and Rocks. Tauros is no bull crap!
Tauros works like before and his new Ground typing can be both good and bad. He gains some resistances and an immunity, and has STAB Earthquake now, but he also gains three Special weaknesses. Otherwise, Tauros remains the same, but has a lot of new competition and won't appear on every single team anymore. |

Tauros is no longer the dominating force that he used to be in regular RBY, not because he has gotten worse, but rather because the competition for his spot has increased. Tauros is now Normal/Ground, a unique typing that grants him perfect coverage with his STAB alone. He also gains a stronger Ground move, Take Down, to hit his foes even harder. Tauros takes a small hit on the special side due to a nerfed Blizzard and slightly lower special stat - Tauros moveset is no longer set in stone. Care when dealing with Grasses, as a strong Razor Leaf could OHKO you.
