Flareon enjoys the new Normal typing more than the other Eons since he can finally utilize his epic attack stat. Body Slam and Quick Attack will rack up major damage on the physical side, and work well with Leer. Fire Blast and Ember destroy the Bugs, Grasses, and Ice pokemon, especially when paired with Growth. Flareon is on Fire!
Flareon's massive Attack makes her the most powerful Normal in the game. Flareon doesn't have much of a moveset, but the Fire moves are still powerful and now more useful. Quick Attack covers Flareon's low Speed and does a lot of damage. Watch for all the Rocks and Waters or you'll get walled. |

Flareon and the other Eeveelutions get a X/Normal typing. Flareon is without a doubt the Eeveelution to gain the most from this, as he's now having a way to utilize his superb attack stat. All Eeveelutions have also gained a signature STAB move that has a 30% chance to lower the foes Special. Flareon is now the slow mixed sweeper that's still walled by Rocks. His movepool is shallow but holds a lot of force - STAB Quick Attack from 358 attack is the strongest priority move in the game and can KO a lot of fragile Pokémon after you've hit them with a move like Fire Blast or Double-Edge. Try to get paralysis support before using Flareon to negate the poor speed, and avoid Rocks unless you can cause a burn.
