With a greater amount of viable Pokemon the idea of Toxic stalling seems possible. Post any ideas on the matter here.

I see it the other way around. The more viable pokemon, the faster the meta is, the worse toxicstalling is.

I think that's only because the way Plus has been making things viable has been by jacking up the offensive power of most things.

Defensive power has also been increased. See Wigglytuff, Nidoqueen, Clefable etc.
Not sure if I believe in Toxic stall still since it'd only work with a ridiculous amount of defensive Recover users versus a Balanced team - all-out offense, set-up attackers and the like rip stall teams apart since Recover users don't get Acid Armor/Barrier/Amnesia, bar Mew.

In fact, Icy and I have both had some success with Toxic teams, albeit not with extensive sampling. Definitely give it a shot. Everyone should experiment extensively with Plus.

It's really difficult to build a team purely around Toxic due to multiple problems (Recovery moves, Rest, Poison-types, etc), but it should be used just like how Paralysis, Sleep, and Burns are; as support. Toxic means that the opponent will eventually need to switch out or otherwise have a limited number of turns left. It also means that every time that Pokemon is switched back in (excluding after a faint), it loses another 1/16th, which can add up.
Though as Jorgen said, the general heavy offense kind of pushes that back, at least hypothesized. The metagame is lol since nobody plays, so most of what people say about it is just "on paper". I would play but I'm busy with university. :X

Personally, I believe that there is more to gain in playing a game with lots of Scratch, Egg Bomb, Fire Blast etc., as Toxic is bork in RBY. Burn has a positive side effect in the form of demolishing physical attackers while doing the same amount of damage as Toxic after someone has switched. The difference is of course that you can't put a burn on someone with a 100% success rate, like with Toxic.
Of course, there isn't a whole lot of defensive Scratch users. Egg Bomb is Chansey/Exeggutor only, and Fire Blast is inaccurate. Also I am not sure if you can burn Fire types.

I had a similar team when we were playing Pen and Paper style.
Toxic with Fly effect attacks, sprinkled in with the tanks.
I don't remember if I ever actually used it.

Ages ago, in one match, I had a paralyzed Rhydon and Alakazam with only a few PPs left for Psychic, while my opponent only had a full health and status free Chansey. Rhydon was running a bit of a goofy set (Earthquake, Rock Slide, Body Slam, Toxic). Chansey needed two turns to take down Rhydon. Guess what happened.

Toxic missed!
That's a very good point though - Toxic is great when your opponent is down to his final Pokémon. I suppose it could be possible...to run 5 Exploders and Toxic the last one! Yes!

Oh by the way. Is Toxic going to work like in future generations (not turn into normal poison when switched out). Because if not then the Toxic/Leech Seed glitch should be put in.

We're sticking true to the RBY mechanics.
The reason that Toxic + Leech Seed doesn't work as of now is because PO hasn't made it like that yet, as with many other things. <_<
