Preferably without having to collect all the cards at first. That said, anyone else who likes Kangaskhan? Such a beast. Just sit in front of everything, Fetch is great considering that he can tank a lot of attacks before dying, so you get to draw a lot of cards until you eventually fire away with Comet Punch. Of course it's worse versus humans, but really great vs. the poor bots.

I agree. Just shark in all the cards. Though the TCG1 lacks ditto which is a very bad thing. I guess they couldnt program his pokepower in? He wrecked rain dance Agree with liking Kanga. His fatness and psychic immunity were great. Scoop up after fetching.

Base set Electrode is also missing, who also has a unique Pokepower (Buzzap).

I sharked in 4 lugia's and 4 rocket cards. The two "phantom" cards. I played a little bit more, save stating the coin flip game to get credits to turn into boosters.
I have a good amount of cards now.

icy's pollenlax deck looks neat. Anyone have any cool decks based around GR's Mewtwo?
tcg1: just legitimately got 4 of every card (except some of the promos), I guess next I should try getting 16 of each trainer lol

Fun fact, most people say you need 16 of every card (so that you can make any 4 decks), but actually you need 20 of each. If you go to Mason's Laboratory to the autodeck machine, and you want to build a deck that would replace one of your current 4, it needs spare card from your collection. In other words, if you have 16 Computer Searches, have 4 in all 4 decks, and want to make a new deck via autodeck machine, you need 4 spare ones. Hence, get 20 of each card.
The more you know!

I actually have 2 copies of this game (mainly so I could use Card Pop myself) - I only ever completed one cartridge's game. To be honest, I've never gone out of my way to make competitive decks.
What is interesting is that it's probably the only Game Boy game I know of that changes it's "Super Game Boy" border depending on how far through the game you are - each time you earn a badge, it appears in the border.
I know that emualtor-wise, TGB Dual has support for multiple Game Boys and supposedly has stuff built in for netplay and the GBC's infa-red. (How it uses those I'm not sure - they're not documented and don't seem to do anything for me...)

Bump with awesome deck I just made:
3x Porygon 4x Kabutops
4x Oak 4x Bill 4x M. Fossil 4x Breeder 4x Energy Removal 4x Gust 4x Plus Power 4x Comp Search 2x Itemfinder 2x Switch 2x Energy Search 1x Trader 1x Super Potion 1x Imakuni?
12x Fighting
I got sick of making good decks now I'm just experimenting with horrible ones.
