Picky, picky.
Nah, it doesn't really matter, so long as the scores are there.

Kind of a silly thing to fight over...
Crystal, I'm pretty busy through Monday. Give me a time when you're available after that.

I beat Gabe 2-0 (technically 3-0). The first game he timed out since he didn't know the rules, but I ignored it anyway.
Folks, read the rules. We're not using Smogon tiers; Charizard is UU, because of the heavy Water metagame and Amnesia users. Charizard is only useful against paralyzed Electabuzzs, Pokemon currently Resting and status inflicters.
On-topic, I managed a perfect pool for the second tournament in a row, and guaranteed 1st Seed. Let's get the rest of the sets done so we can begin the brackets. Crystal, I know you're trying to manage things, but Gabe and Garrin Red: you two need to contact your opponents.
Also Tristan vs WaterWizard please. =)

Win against Posthuman 2-0. The last battle finish was a long stall, and both were very interesting games. He didn't realise that Dewgong cannot get frozen and I used it in my favour. GGs

Ice types cannot get frozen in RBY. You can take off the log.

Test it ingame if you can.
Note that if ice types CAN be frozen, your dewgong would be abusing TWO gitches... IDK if that should be allowed. Also, get them to fix these glitches in the next NB update.

What are you guys talking about? Ice types can't be frozen, nor Fire types burned. Electric types can be paralyzed by Electric moves though (such as Thunderbolt).
You guys are silly.

I never understood that. Why can an Electric type get paralyzed by electricity but a Fire type can't get burned? It must be because Electric attacks aren't the only ones that paralyze, and the devs didn't want to make Electrics immune to things like Body Slam paralysis...

What I still don't know is if this is a glitch of the NB or if in-game you cannot get frozen EDIT: k, see the bulbapedia. What should we do? EDIT2: Perhaps in Stadium they can get frozen, but we are playng with the substitute glitch anyway

Well I tried on the yellow version and it looks like they can't get frozen. I tried like 30 freeze moves on a Dewgong and it didn't freeze. Then I froze a Slowbro first try on an ice beam. This was on yellow so I dunno about red and blue or stadium. Coulda just been unlucky too.

Post another time: This is going extremely slow. I think that for the next tournament we should eliminate the Pools and make random seedings or seedings based in the results of the previous tournaments. Do you agree? And abaut the freeze discussion Im going to ask it in Smogon

It's common knowledge that Ice types can't be frozen Crystal.
Also the tournament is fine, barring the players that beg to join and when they do they go inactive. =/ Otherwise, almost every match is done.
If a tournament was run without Pools but with random seeding, one side might end up stacked while the other is the weaker players. Though I do like seeding based on previous results. Maybe once the UU and OU tournaments are finished I can make a ranking list and use that to seed future tournaments. I'll see.
At the moment though, work on Pools sets.

Yes this is what I mean abaut the seedings.
Have you seen the bulbapedia? It may be wrong, though.

Also get your matches done. If these are still waiting after a few more days with no apparent progress, I'm just going to seed with the current results and get the bracket going.

I've played RBY forever and I used to use Ice types a lot (completely coincidental to my name mind you =P), and I used to use Ice types throughout Stadium.
They can't be frozen and Fire types can't be burned. Even in GSC, the only way possible is with the move Tri Attack which is a Normal type that has a 20% chance of conflicting one of three status conditions: Freeze, Burn or Paralysis.
