Yeah, 255ing Explosion is really annoying.

Anyway, there seemed a reasonable amount of hax there, but he was overly cocky by saying GG prematurely (saying GG after a haxy win is in poor taste anyway) and you probably shouldn't have said BG (I'm being a hypocrite here, I know, but it's still good advice even if I can't always follow it).

(also what the hell was he doing using Starmie Thunderbolt on Chansey when he had Psychic)

Haha, I'm sure all the hax I received in this game adds up to be worse than a 255 explosion miss. Dead lax  + dead eggy + near useless jolteon and slowbro...

Well, while lots of things ended up dead for you, a lot of those kills came from isolated Tauros crits, which aren't all that uncommon (those crits are a big reason why it's so good, after all). Frozen Lax was pretty bad but he did have 3 IBs to do it (although it was a pretty nooby play to do that).

I'm pretty sure there's crazier things than that though, so the "worst hax in RBY history" is pretty unwarranted. For example, there's probably a para'd Chansey v. healthy Chansey matchup that exists where the para'd Chansey FPs like 10 straight times to die to the other Chansey. Heck, I'm pretty sure Crystal_ posted a single log somewhere with 3 Explosion misses in it.

Yeah, the title might be a bit of a misnomer although I was only half-serious when I made it. I know that Tauros is a pretty haxy pokemon due to its crit rate but shouldn't the t-wave from Jolteon nerf its speed(and thus, its crit rate) to oblivion? I still think getting all those crits when under paralysis, and not to mention the fp on eggy and paraslam on bro, was pretty bad. But I dunno, maybe I could have done something different to minimize the damage he could have done to me and not have to rely on a lucky Chansey to bail me out. If you don't mind me asking, what improvements could I make to my game?

Crit rate is dependent on Base Speed, not the actual Speed stat value, so paralysis has no bearing on that. Tauros crits a ton, para'd or not.

Well, switching Tauros into Chansey after the Snorlax freeze was dumb, it was obviously going to throw T-wave.

The early Hyper Beam from Tauros probably wasn't a good idea - had he had Rhydon, he'd have been able to hurt you quite a bit. (He hurt you quite a bit anyway, but that was because he got lucky - switching Jynx into STAB Hyper Beam is retarded.)

You should have used Rest again against his Tauros and hoped for an FP, that would have allowed you to KO.

Not sure if you remember Afroshroomed, but when Icy played him for the first time, Icy's Chansey FP'd seven times in a row and died. Close enough.
