Stop using Gengar. It's not that good. Seriously.

Leading anyway...
Edit: Actually yeah, newer players probably can't use Gengar properly and he's a bit of dead weight that way.

Definitely not leading. Also, anything else. Chain switching sucks. I love hammering Gengar coming into an Earthquake when I'm checking for counter Chansey anyway. EZ. Gengar is not horrible, but he's honestly on like every team of the learning players from this site. He's not that good guys.

Gengar combos well with Articuno for switching around Tauros and Snorlax (WaterWizard does this a lot), and Gengar walls a lot of Pokemon.
Leading Gengar is primarily for Jynx.

However, testing everything is good idea for learning, imo...

So, you want that players use only 6 or 7 pokemon ? ...

For brand new players, it's good to use a basic team to get a grasp on how RBY works. Once you're a bit more confident, you can experiement with the "lower OUs" or tricky-to-use ones. And once you really know what you're doing, you can use anything.
You don't have to, but it helps if you're not a speedy learner.

So, you want that players use only 6 or 7 pokemon ? ... I want them to not suck so much. Mowing people down on Netbattle gets boring. I need to run into Nerd or somebody like that, he always gives me a good game.

Articuno and Gengar require more precision than the EZ 123 pokes.
If you're new, and you're terribly concerned about winning, don't use them. If you want to learn, try using everyone. Maybe stick with the basics during tournament matches.
Once you're a little better, you can use these pokes to baffle Nitro.

Once you're a little better, you can use these pokes to baffle Nitro. Of course you can't. In fact, I can say with complete confidence I have never lost to you while you were using Articuno. I can say that so confidently because I barely lose to you at all. You are still very easy. In fact, when I raped WW with a toxic resting team, he made the excuse that it was because he was using Articuno. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Okay, you're making stuff up now.
For those who are unaware, I usually beat Nitro, and he also placed last in the OU tournament...
His ego is a lot bigger than his win-list.

Only one way to settle this!
