Amnesialax standard
Amnesia, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Rest
My favourite Amnesialax. Ice Beam and Thunderbolt can inflict good damages to every Pokemon. The only Pokemon who can really stall you is Chansey. You can replace Thunderbolt with Body Slam, but in this case you could have many problems with Ice and Water types. Anyway, you can beat Chansey without Body Slam, although it is long. Body Slam is useful for paralysis and low Defense Pokemon, but i think Thunderbolt is more useful. Amnesialax can be awesome, but he has many problems with Physicals, because his speed is horrible and he is tricky to set up.
Matchups :
I write on the first line the damages inflicted by Lax to the opponent, on the second line the damages inflicted by the opponent to Lax.
Alakazam : TB 228 - (19~22%), TB 456 - (37~44%), TB 684 - (56~66%), TB 912 - (74~87%) Psychic 228 : 22~26%, Psychic 456 : 11~13%, Psychic 684 : 7~9%, Psychic 912 : 6~7% It is not an easy matchup, but you can win, especially if Zam is paralysed or if you have already used Amnesia. Against Zam you should use 3 Amnesia, and you should often use Rest (and you should pray). However, your opponent can switch to Tauros or Persian if he predicted a Rest. If you want to switch into Zam, try to switch into Recover. Switching into Psychic is a bit dangerous, but possible.
Articuno : TB 228 - (24~28%), TB 456 - (47~55%), TB 684 - (70~83%), TB 912 - (93~100%) Blizzard 228 : 27~32%, Blizzard 456 : 14~16%, Blizzard 684 : 9~11%, Blizzard 912 : 7~8% Lax wins usually, because of Thunderbolt (although CH are dangerous), but it is not really safe to switch into Blizzard. Try to switch into Reflect if it is possible.
Chansey : TB 228 - (7~9%), TB 456 - (14~17%), TB 684 (22~26%), TB 912 - (29~34%) Ice Beam 228 : 13~15%, Ice Beam 456 : 7~8%, Ice Beam 684 : 4~5%, Ice Beam 912 : 3~4% A stall war... Usually you win because you hit ~31% and Chan hits you ~3%. Though Chansey may be dangerous because he can freeze you.
Cloyster : TB 228 - (55~65%), TB 456 - (100%) Blizzard 228 : 21~25%, Blizzard 456 : 11~13%, Blizzard 684 : 7~9%, Blizzard 912 : 6%, Hyper Beam : 26~31%, Explosion : 59~69 % You win easily, but Explosion may be dangerous ; so, Cloyster can force you to switch.
Dragonite : IB 228 - (55~65%), IB 456 - (100%) Wrap : 6~20% (without CH), Blizzard 228 : 16~18%, Blizzard 456 : 8~9%, Blizzard 684 : 5~6%, Blizzard 912 : 4~5%, Hyper Beam : 33~39% If Dragonite uses Wrap, he can force you to switch. If he doesn't, you win obviously.
Exeggutor : IB 228 - (35~41%), IB 456 - (70~82%), IB 684 - (100%) Psychic 228 : 21~24%, Psychic 456 : 11~12%, Psychic 684 : 7~8%, Psychic 912 : 5~7%, Explosion : 59~69% You could think "Egg has Ice weakness, so i win easily". In fact, you don't. You can hit Egg very well, but Explosion is really a problem. Avoid the "Psychic >> Explosion >> Revenge kill" is hard. That forces you to switch, and the Amnesia boost is lost.
Gengar : TB 228 - (20~23%), TB 456 - (39~46%), TB 684 - (59~69%), TB 912 (77~91%) Psychic 228 : 15~17%, Psychic 456 : 7~9%, Psychic 684 : 5~6%, Psychic 912 : 4~5%, Explosion : 47~55% Lax wins, but watch out ! Explosion is still there.
Golem : IB 228 - (38~45%), IB 456 - (76~89%), IB 684 - (100%) Earthquake : 29~34%, Explosion : 65~76% Golem is a threat : he hits quite hard and he has Explosion. He can often 2HKO you (EQ + Explosion). If you have already used Amnesia two times, you can OHKO him, so Golem is hard to switch into Lax, but Lax is hard to switch into Golem too. And if Golem switches into when you Rest, you are dead.
Jynx : TB 228 - (16~19%), TB 456 - (33~38%), TB 684 - (49~57%), TB 912 - (65~76%) Blizzard 228 : 23~27%, Blizzard 456 : 11~14%, Blizzard 684 : 8~9%, Blizzard 912 : 6~7% Jynx can't heal, so you win (unless there is freeze, of course). If Jynx is not paralysed, switching into is not totally safe (because of a possible CH), but it is still easy.
Lapras : TB 228 - (24~28%), TB 456 - (47~55%), TB 684 - (70~83%), TB 912 - (93~100%) Blizzard 228 : 23~27%, Blizzard 456 : 11~14%, Blizzard 684 : 8~9%, Blizzard 912 : 6~7% , Body Slam : 14~16% Good matchup ! You must win.
Persian : TB 228 - (21~24%), TB 456 - (41~48%), TB 684 - (61~72%), TB 912 - (82~96%) Slash : 30~35%, Hyper Beam : 32~38%, Bubble Beam : 7~8% Usually Persian wins. Slash can 3HKO, especially if you took a Bubble Beam on the switch, and Persian is faster. Even if Persian is paralysed, you can still lose. However Persian can't really switch into Lax if you have already used Amnesia (unless the opponents predicts a Rest).
Rhydon : IB 228 - (41~48%), IB 456 (80~94%), IB - 684 (100%) Earthquake : 32~38% You can 3HKO Rhydon and Rhydon can 3HKO you, though Rhydon is faster : so he wins (unless you had already used Amnesia).
Slowbro : TB 228 - (31~37%), TB 456 - (62~, 73%), TB - 684 (92~100%), TB - 912 (100%) Surf 228 : 16~19%, Surf 456 : 8~10%, Surf 684 : 6~7%, Surf 912 : 4~5% You win quite easily, because of Thunderbolt. You can switch into Bro quite safely, unless he have already used two Amnesia. If he have, you should switch into a Rest.
Snorlax : TB 228 - (10~11%), TB 456 - (19~22%), TB 684 - (28~33%), TB 912 - (38~44%) Body Slam : 25~29%, Hyper Beam : 43~51%, Selfdestruct : 75~88% Standard Snorlax is a horrible matchup. Even after Amnesia you can't hit him effectively, and he can 3HKO you. And if the opponent's Lax have few HP, he can still Selfdestruct. In every case, you lose.
Starmie : TB 228 - (36~43%), TB 456 - (72~85%), TB 684 - (100%) Psychic 228 : 18~21%, Psychic 456 : 9~11%, Psychic 684 : 6~7%, Psychic : 912 : 5~6% You win easily. Two Amnesia, then OHKO.
Tauros : TB 228 - (19~22%), TB 456 - (37~44%), TB 684 - (56~66%), TB 912 - (75~88%) Body Slam : 23~27%, Hyper Beam : 40~48% If you have not used Amnesia before, you lose. Tauros is a difficult matchup, so avoid it if you can.
Zapdos : IB 228 - (30~35%), IB 456 - (59~69%), IB 684 - (88~100%), IB 912 - (100%) Thunderbolt 228 : 22~25%, Drill Peck : 20~24% Overall you win, but if Zapdos switches into a Rest, you will die.

Body Slam > Tbolt imo. Not only because without it you never beat a para Chansey (otherwise it becomes just a freeze war), but also because Snorlax not always will be able to set up properly if it's played agressively against it. Also, I'll consider SD since many things beat you if they come into teh predicted Rest, meaning it mostly has the same use as physical rest that is waking up in Chanseys face and thus coming into it mroe consistently, which is definitely not relevant if you can't touch them (aka no bslam). Tbolt definitely helps against waters/ices though. Also, as a variant, Reflect/Amnesia/Slam/Rest. It's awesome.

Really good stuff! Detailed and thorough. I have to agree with Crystal that I prefer Body Slam over Thunderbolt, but Thunderbolt is nicer for aquatics if you setup, especially Cloyster, Articuno, etc.
Snorlax learn a lot of moves so you can be versatile with Amnesia. Fire Blast, Surf and Psychic all work too, but they're more for specific Pokemon and Ice Beam is a lot better in general.
However, one problem: I'm guessing you used Netbattle's damage calculator, as a few are off. Cloyster in particular takes 139-118 (46%-39%), though with his GSC Special Defense, they're right. Just a few fixes for some Pokemon to do.

I played muhp the other day and tbolt surprised the crap out of my slowbro. Needless to say, that sealed the match in his favor.

I suck at handling set up Pokés, but I think that against regular Amnesialax, you wouldn't send out Chansey - Body Slam hits hard, as people have noted. Entering the battle thinking that your opponent probably has IB/BS, I suppose that Lapras would be one of the more sensible choices, swallowing IB and taking the BS decently, while being able to hit with BS back, plus Confuse Ray if you have it. Knowing that...TBolt seems very reasonable.

If your opponent has Slowbro, Lapras or Articuno, Tbolt is probably better. He helps also against Starmie. And Lapras and Starmie are very common... If you want to use BSlam with Amnesialax, i think the Reflect moveset is better than the IBeam moveset. The moveset BS+IB has problems against Water/Ice-types and also against Physicals, so it is hard to use effectively. The Reflect moveset is very good, if you don't take CH before the set up.
Right. I correct that when i have time.

Most people that lose to amnesialax is because they let him set up. People usually presuppose it's standard physical set, so if they are for example with Starmie, they think: umm starmie pretty relevant for teh rest of the battle and i can't afford getting it para etc, so i switch to Egg / Rhydon whatever. You do this just to see it Amnesia; then you are screwed. Now you hit it for 15% with specails and physicals take almost double the damage they do. Amnesialax isn't that much of a problem since you can explode on it, but that's definitely one of the reasons Relfect+Amnesialax is so awesome and 6-0s without really needing a lot of luck.
Same goes for Slowbro; people switch out their Tauros/snorlax when they don't have Starmie and then complain their para Chansey/Lapras didnt beat him when odds were clearly against them.
"If your opponent has Slowbro, Lapras or Articuno, Tbolt is probably better" The question is definitely if tehre's water/ice AND Chansey. Because without slam, lax cant touch chansey; on the other hand blizz/tbolt/amnesia/sd lures out chansey and booms; and it often worked when i used it; anyway though, Snorlax > Chansey imo so its not a so good trade, and the trade isnt guaranteed anyway, yet Starmie/Lapras etc now sweep much better if i get it.
As for Slam+IBeam vs star/lapras/articuno, Snorlax takes 15-18% after +2, so the matchup is decided with luck (ch). If Snorlax gets +4 though, youll need 2 chs to beat it when he's resting; so youll probably need the ch in the set up or beat it with physicals if you predict the rest and come into it.

However if your opponent has Gar, or Counter Chansey (and many Counter pokes), ReflectAmnesialax is quite useless. My main team has both Gar and Counter Chan, so ReflectAmnesialax can not really work against me (if i play well, lol).

Gar will get outstalled unless it gets 2 consecutive tbolt chs in the same rest period, then follows with explosion or another ch tbolt OR Night Shade, which despite being the better than MDrain or whatever else, nobody uses it. I don't know the exact % of success but 2/2 chs is 4'6%, you have 24 pp and you need to force him to rest so that he cant recover hp in teh next 3 turns. But if you dont get a ch you can end up wasting 11 pp or so to get it to around 45%, where it dies to ch. 1 ch usually means 5 hits to get it to -45%. Counter Chansey should work, since with 32 pp you can afford mispredicting a lot of counters, the problem is if what happens is that he slams when you dont counter. If he manages to put you -40% you are dead.

Anyway, Counter Chan requires always some mindgame.
