I can see the use in Wrap in forcing a switch (much like Lance does in Stadium with Dragonair), but I've not used it online since netbattle 0.95 or 0.96, where IIRC, it was badly glitched in R/B/Y.

eh, and, in-game, when you wrap, every hit will do the same amount of damage, until wrap ends. So CH ,and the Random of te damage formula is determined by the first hit. Also, and more important, in-game, each turn of wrap, the user can select another move, and, if the opponent switches out, the user will attack with the selected move. For example: turn 1: dnite vs chansey. dnite uses wrap: chansey cant move turn 2: dnite selects agility/twave/tbolt/slam/whatever. If: 1. Chansey stays in: Dnite uses wrap; chansey can't move 2. Chansey switches out: Dnite uses Agility/whatever Tested both things in pokemon red So, are they just netbattle errors, or it's because nb people decided to change the behaviour of the wrap moves? Or in yellow it works different? And this is also interesting: www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9GRg9xxZqk

Does the user know if wrap has ended when they select this other move. Like, I assume as the user of wrap, unlike on NB, I wont know that if I select surf instead of wrap and my opponent doesnt switch, whether or not I will use surf or wrap. Unless it is the second turn of wrap, when it has to be another wrap.
This would make switching between wraps to waste PP not work at all..
What happens if you use an item midwrap ingame?

On NBS, your moves won't highlight when you're not able to select a move (as if you were asleep) while you Wrap or are being Wrapped. Nothing indicates this in-game or on Stadium.
I'm not sure about using items, but I think it skips a Wrap turn, but continues the effect. I have no idea though.

Crystal, how is that possible?
When you select to Fight after you Wrap, it simply states, "POKEMON's attack continues!"
Your video also shows this, so I don't know how you thought Wrappers can change moves on the switch.

I also play with no wraps. To avoid playing people who have them on their movesets, I added Bind, Clamp, and Fire Spin to my banned move clauses using the NBS input "/ClauseMove #". "/ClauseMove 16" bans Bind, "/ClauseMove 26" bans Clamp, and "/ClauseMove 66" bans Fire Spin. Wrap should be #353 or 354 but it isn't. Does anyone know what the move number on Wrap is? You can use "/ResetClauses" to clear all your bans if you make a mistake.
